The Denver Nuggets will be on the road to face the Washington Wizards on Saturday. Denver is coming off of a tough 126-114 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday.

The Nuggets, who were speculated to be one of the best teams in the West, haven’t had the best starts to the season. They are currently eighth in the standings with a 11-9 record and have gone 4-6 in the past 10 games. Nikola Jokic and Co. need to up their game if they are to contend in the competitive West.

They are also battling with the fitness of key players such as Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon. However, that shouldn’t be a concern against the Wizards who have the worst record in the league at 2-18 and have lost 16 straight.

Denver Nuggets injury report: Injury update on Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon

As per Denver’s injury report, Murray is ruled out for Saturday’s game with a right hamstring inflammation. He played 41 minutes and 37 seconds against the Cavs for 19 points and six assists. Murray earlier missed three games between Nov. 2 and Nov. 6 because of a concussion.

Dario Saric is listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Vlatko Cancar (knee) and DaRon Holmes II (Achilles) remain out.

For the Washington Wizards, the team will be without Kyle Kuzma (ribs), Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring), Saddiq Bey (knee), Corey Kispert (ankle), Tristan Vukcevic (knee) and Kyshawn George (ankle).

Editor’s note: The injury report will be updated once the Nuggets provide more updates.
