Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves preview
The 2025 NBA Rivals Week concludes with 14 games on Saturday. This is one of the most talked about games as it is a rematch of last season’s Western Conference semifinals where Anthony Edwards and the T-Wolves upset the Nuggets in seven games.
Denver started the season slow but has picked up pace of late. It is on a four-game win streak and has won eight of its past 10 games. The Nuggets most recently got a 132-123 win against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.
Nikola Jokic had a triple double of 35 points, 22 rebounds and 17 assists. In doing so, he became the only second player after Wilt Chamberlain to put up a statline of 35+ points, 20+ rebounds and 15+ assists.
Minnesota, meanwhile, seems to be still looking for consistency. While it has won six of the past 10 games, it is nowhere near where analysts expected the team to be after a Western Conference finals appearance last season.
The Timberwolves are coming off of a 115-114 win against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. Jaden McDaniels led the team in scoring with 27 points. Edwards had 21 points and seven assists.
Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves betting props
Nikola Jokic’s points, rebounds and assists total is set at 50.5. He had 74 in that category the last time he played. This should be an easy over as the big man always finds a way to influence the game.
Anthony Edwards’ points total is set at 27.5, a mark he has crossed in four of the past five games. While he had a fairly off night against Dallas, expect Edwards to bounce back strong and score over 27.5 points.
Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves prediction
The oddsmakers favor the Nuggets on the road. This should be a highly competitive game with the team total going past 229.5 points.
