Devin Anthony Vassell is an American basketball shooting guard/small forward for the San Antonio Spurs in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born on August 23, 2000, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, U.S., Vassell grew up in Suwanee, Georgia. and attended Peachtree Ridge High School. He averaged 21.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game in his senior high school season. He was voted the regional Player of the Year by the Gwinnett Daily Post during that season.

For college, Vassell committed to Florida State over other lucrative offers from Texas Tech, North Florida, and Stetson. As a freshman for the Florida State Seminoles, he averaged 4.5 points and 1.5 rebounds per game and led all ACC Freshman with a .419 3-point shooting percentage. In his sophomore season, led the team in scoring in both points and rebounds, at 12.7 and 5.1 per game respectively. He was selected to the Second Team All-ACC. Vassel was also named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2019 Emerald Coast Classic during his time in college. He led his team in scoring with 12.7 points per game in his final season.

Vassell was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs with the 11th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. He officially signed with them on November 27, 2020. He made his NBA debut on December 23, 2020, against the Memphis Grizzlies. Vassel scored a career-high 29 points, against the Los Angeles Clippers on November 4, 2022. Vassel penned a five–year, $146 million contract extension with the San Antonio Spurs on October 2, 2023, making it the largest contract in Spurs franchise history.
