DiJonai Carrington is a 5-foot-11 tall shooting guard for the Connecticut Sun in the WNBA. She was drafted as the 20th overall pick in the second round by the Connecticut Sun in the 2021 WNBA Draft. In the 2024 WNBA season, Carrington scored her 1000th point in her WNBA career against the Los Angeles Sparks.

Carrington had an outstanding 2024 WNBA season as she won the WNBA’s Most Improved Player award and landed a spot on the WNBA All-Defensive First Team. She had averaged 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.6 steals in 2023 but improved to averaging 12.7 points, 5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.6 steals. In college, Carrington played at Stanford from 2016 to 2020, helping the team win two Pac-12 championships and earned All-Pac-12 honors in 2019. Then at Baylor (2020–2021), she averaged 14.1 points, winning Big-12 Newcomer of the Year, and was named Sixth Person of the Year.
