Dillon Brooks, an american professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies, plays the position of the shooting guard in the NBA and has recently come to be noticed in the NBA for his defensive prowess and sharp tongue. Brooks was born on January 22, 1996 in Mississauga, Torono, Canada. The guard from Findlay Prep High School and Oregon was drafted as the 45th pick by the Houston Rockets in the 2017 NBA draft. Brooks was a key player for the Oregon Ducks, leading the team to the Final Four in the NCAA Tournament of 2017. In this season, he was named Pac-12 player of the year and he was also named an All-American. After being drafted by Rockets, he was immediately traded to Memphis Grizzlies where he was made a starter. Brooks does not have any significant NBA records or accolades to his name but he has surely made an impact on basketball and winning for his team. The Grizzlies showed faith in Brooks in the 2017 draft and acquired him through a trade from the Houston Rockets. Ever since then, Brooks has shown that he can impact the team in a positive manner as a reliable scoring option and as the main defender of the team.

It is yet to be seen whether Brooks will remain with the team that saw value in him and acquired him through trade to make him an immediate starter on the team, or if he seize the opportunity to get a sizeable contract and have another run on a championship calibre team..
