The 6-foot 6 small forward, Dillon Jones played collegiate ball for Weber State Wildcats of the Big Sky conference. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Jones had one of the greatest basketball careers in the history of Weber State.

Jones played four years of college ball with the Wildcats, breaking numerous all-time records. He ranked fifth in points, third in rebounds, second in assists, first in steals, and second in free throws made (all in total stats). This was one of the most dominant four-year spans in their history, and he also played the second-most minutes in the college’s history (3,900). He was awarded Big Sky Rookie of the Year in 2021, Player of the Year in 2024, and was a two-time All-Big Sky First Team selection.

After a ragged start in his freshman season, Jones featured in 23 games but started only two, averaging 8.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. Once he was introduced to the starting lineup in his sophomore year, Jones showcased his two-way potential. In his junior year, Jones became the focal point of the offense, leading the team in points, rebounds, assists, and steals while averaging a double-double. He averaged 16.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.6 steals, showcasing immense potential as a scorer and playmaker.

Throughout his college career, Jones developed his game and showcased his two-way potential. He has also been a good free-throw shooter, averaging 82.3% from the FT line over four years. With his ability to get to the line, grab rebounds, and play as a secondary playmaker in pick-and-roll situations and off screens, he has huge potential in the NBA Draft.
