Following their 130-112 Thursday night loss to the Sacramento Kings, the San Antonio Spurs have fallen to 6-10 and 13th in the Western Conference.

Spurs have gone 1-8 since their impressive 5-2 start. However, the improvement of Keldon Johnson has given Spurs fans something to be excited about. In particular, Johnson’s elite 3-point shooting has been an extremely impressive development.

With 52 threes, Johnson is tied for the second-most 3-pointers made this season, behind only Warriors’ superstar point guard Steph Curry (72). Johnson has done that in just 14 games. In comparison, last season, he made a career-best 159 3-pointers in 75 games. Over his first two seasons, Johnson has made just 73 3-pointers in 86 games. So simply put, his improvement has been exponential.
