Domantas Sabonis' Siblings

Sacramento Kings' center Domantas Sabonis is a three-time NBA All-Star and two-time All-NBA who delivers double-doubles on a nightly basis. Tautvydas is Domantas's other older brother, who followed more directly following in their father Arvydas's footsteps by pursuing a career in basketball. Born in 1992, Tautvydas played in several European leagues. Particularly in the Primera FEB league in Spain, where he played for CB Clínicas Rincón Málaga from 2011 to 2015 seasons that saw him evolve from limited playing minutes to becoming a core contributor. He averaged 22.9 minutes per game, 8.4 points, and 5.1 rebounds in 2014-2015. Tautvydas Sabonis later played for other teams like FIBWI Palma, CB Coruña, and Amics Castelló.

After his playing career, Tautvydas transitioned into coaching, bringing his expertise back to Lithuania. As of November 2024, he is an assistant coach for Žalgiris Kaunas, one of the most prestigious basketball teams in Lithuania, where once his father played and left an iconic legacy.

Aušrinė Sabonis

The youngest sibling and the only sister in the Sabonis family, Aušrinė Sabonis was born in 1997. She chose a professional path distinct from her brothers, excelling academically and building a career in the hospitality industry. According to her LinkedIn, Aušrinė graduated with a First Class Honors Degree in Business Management from Westminster University in London and established a strong foundation for her future in business. Fluent in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Lithuanian, conversational French, and Russian, Aušrinė has gained extensive experience in hospitality, working her way up from an assistant waitress to positions as a hostess and now a restaurant manager at her father’s Pušų Paunksnėje Hotel.

Domantas Sabonis’ father Arvydas Sabonis is one of the most celebrated basketball players from Europe. Born in 1964 in Kaunas, Lithuania, Arvydas was 7 feet 3 inches and was an incredible passer. His basketball IQ, court vision, and outside shooting touch were amazing for a player his size.

Arvydas spent most of his career in Europe, particularly in the Soviet and Spanish leagues, and later made a significant impact with the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Eventually, for his basketball contributions, Sabonis was named to the Basketball Hall of Fame.
