2021 NBA champion Donte DiVincenzo is an American shooting guard who plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born on January 31, 1997, in Newark, Delaware, DiVincenzo grew up playing soccer before switching to basketball in high school. DiVincenzo went to the Salesianum School, where he averaged 15.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. He also led his high school team to two consecutive state championships. For college, DiVincenzo committed to playing for the Villanova Wildcats. He was an important part of his team that won the NCAA title twice, in 2016 and 2018. He was also named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player (MOP) in 2018.

DiVincenzo was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2018 NBA Draft with the 17th overall pick. He made his NBA debut on October 16, 2018, against the Charlotte Hornets, where he recorded eight points, three rebounds, and two assists in a 126-117 victory. He won his first NBA championship with the team in 2021. DiVincenzo was subsequently traded to the Sacramento Kings the following season. In less than half a year, he was again on the move, as he signed with the Golden State Warriors on January 27, 2023, on a two-year $9.3 million deal. Last offseason, DiVincenzo signed a four-year contract with the New York Knicks. He hit his career-high points on November 18, 2023, against the Charlotte Hornets, with 25 points. After the best statistical season of his career in the 2023/24 season, DiVincenzo was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2024 off-season.
