Born on January 31, 1997, Donte DiVincenzo is a professional basketball shooting guard, currently playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA. DiVincenzo was born in Newark, Delaware, DiVincenzo, and grew up playing soccer before making the switch to basketball in high school. He attended Salesianum School, leading them to two consecutive state championships, averaging 15.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game as a junior, and 22.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game as a senior. He was also voted the Delaware Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association's Boys' Basketball Player of the Year in 2015. He went on to play college basketball for the Villanova Wildcats, with whom he won two national championships there, in 2016 and 2018 respectively. He was also named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player (MOP) in 2018.

DiVincenzo was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2018 NBA draft with their 17th overall pick. He made his NBA debut on October 16, 2018, against the Charlotte Hornets, where he recorded 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in a 126-117 victory. He won his first NBA championship with them in 2021 and was traded to the Sacramento Kings the following season. In less than half a year, DiVincenzo signed with the Golden State Warriors on January 27, 2023, on a two-year, worth $9.3M deal. He signed a multi-year contract with the New York Knicks on July 8, 2023. He hit his career-high points on November 18, 2023, against the Charlotte Hornets, scoring 25 points.

Donte DiVincenzo's only NBA ring in his NBA career up until now was won with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021, beating the Phoenix Suns in the finals. DiVincenzo won a championship ring despite not featuring at all after the first round of the playoffs due to a severe left ankle injury suffered against the Miami Heat. His injury paved the way for role players like P. J. Tucker and Pat Connaughton to shine in the finals.

DiVincenzo averaged .441 from the field, and .284 shooting threes, with a 7.3 FGA in a total of 17 games in the 2021 season. He also averaged 1.7 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.2 blocks in each of those games.

He returned to the fold only on December 25, 2021, after missing 6 months due to the injury. His first game back was against the Boston Celtics, and he scored 3 points and 2 rebounds in 15 minutes. He was traded to the Sacramento Kings as a part of a four-team trade the following season, with the Bucks receiving Serge Ibaka in exchange.
