Dorian Lawrence Finney-Smith is an American small forward/power forward who plays for the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. Born on May 4, 1993, in Portsmouth, Virginia, Finney-Smith attended I. C. Norcom High School in Portsmouth, and played college basketball for Virginia Tech and the University of Florida. He was voted the SEC Sixth Man of the Year during his sophomore season in 2014 and was also part of the Second-team All-SEC in 2015 and 2016.

After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, Finney-Smith was signed by the Dallas Mavericks, where he spent seven seasons and developed into a solid 3-and-D role player. This offseason, he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in a deal involving Kyrie Irving. Finney-Smith is currently on a four-year $55.5 million deal and will earn a salary of $13.3 million for the 2023/24 season.
