Dorian Lawrence Finney-Smith, nickname "Doe Doe", is an American professional basketball player and as of November 2024, he plays for the Brooklyn Nets. He initially attended Virginia Tech and played for the Virginia Tech Hokies men's basketball team and later transferred to the University of Florida and played for the Florida Gators men's basketball team from 2013 to 2016. Finney-Smith was named the SEC Sixth Man of the Year in 2014 and the Second-team All-SEC in 2015 and 2016. Additionally, he earned a spot on the 2014 SEC Academic Honor Roll.

Finney-Smith remained undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft and in July 2016, he signed with the Dallas Mavericks and joined the team for the 2016 NBA Summer League. In July 2019, he re-signed with the Mavericks a three-year contract worth $12 million, where he played with the team from 2016 to 2023. Finney-Smith was traded to the Nets in February 2023.

Earlier, he served in the Navy and was stationed in Norfolk. Smith saw his son playing for the first time in April 2024 at Barclays Center. His father left him when he was only two years old.

He was shot seven times in the arm, chest, and shoulder and after two weeks, he died at just 18 years in a hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. Dorian Finney-Smith was a few feet away when the man shot his brother. He was an honor-roll student and wide receiver at I.C. Norcom High in Portsmouth, Virginia, according to the Herald Tribune.
