Green has had one major injury throughout his career in the NBA. This was a back injury in the 2021-22 season. As the Warriors star said in an interview, Green’s L5 and S1 disks were herniated causing them to bulge and hit a nerve called the sciatica nerve. Green had to use special cushions to do the simplest of tasks during this time period. The back injury also connected to Green’s lower body, making it hard for him to successfully complete a single calf raise. However, Green battled through the injury and returned to help the Warriors.
