#2 Celtics to go back to basics:

Boston Celtics v Cleveland Cavaliers - Game Six
The Celtics completely outclassed in the paint.

The Celtics are playing without their All-Stars which makes the NBA worried about what would happen next season when they returned. Game 6 was not their brightest moment as they made all sorts of errors at both ends of the court. They were offensively sound, shooting the ball at a high percentage with five players in double figures by the end of the night. Clearly shooting their ball and pass rotation was not their biggest concern.

Moving forward, they barely made their presence felt on the offensive boards, being able to capture just five offensive rebounds although Kevin Love was injured five minutes into the game. They started the game with three frontcourt players which included a center but failed to capitalize on the size advantage. They ended the game with a team total of 31 rebounds.

They ended the night with 55% on free throws. Except for Terry Rozier, all the other players who shot free throws shot only 50% from the line. They failed to capitalize on open opportunities and mainly failed to shut down the other Cavaliers which they did so well in Game 3 and 4.

They also ended the night with 13 turnovers and Marcus Smart shot only 25% from beyond the ark. Terry Rozier was the standout figure in the Boston Celtics line up tonight in terms of points and assists.
