NBA players might be second-guessing their decision to call DeMar DeRozan on their podcasts after the Sacramento Kings forward's 'accidental jabs.' DeRozan went viral for it after appearing on former Indiana Pacers guard Jeff Teague's podcast, 'Club 520.'

While looking back at his career after making his first All-Star game, DeRozan inadvertently mentioned he didn't want to be remembered as a one-time All-Star, which is how Teague's career played out.

“I just never wanted to be a 1x All-Star type of n****... no shade, JT," DeRozan said.

After that video went viral, Paul George's podcast show's X account tweeted a snippet from DeRozan's appearance, where the five-time All-Star inadvertently threw shade on the Sixers star.

DeRozan critiqued leaving a player like Damian Lillard open, which George did in 2019 when the former Portland star hit a 37-foot game-winner in Game 5 of the first-round series between the Trail Blazers and the Thunder.

"I ain't mean to say that," DeRozan told George.

NBA fans were in splits after realizing DeMar DeRozan has had such an instance on a fellow player's podcast twice. One fan revisited how DeRozan showed up on stage for his friend Drake's rival Kendrick Lamar's 'pop out' concert in LA and later maintained that he's still close to the former.

"The how he popped out on Drake by accident … talking about “that’s my guy," the fan wrote.

DeMar DeRozan bats for Drake after appearing in Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" video

The past few months in the rap world have been highlighted by Drake and Kendrick Lamar's beef. The two superstars have gone back and forth, releasing multiple diss tracks for each other. DeMar DeRozan was among the NBA players caught in the middle of it after he was name-dropped by Lamar in the most viral track, "Not Like Us."

DeRozan also appeared in the music video after dancing at Lamar's pop-out concert. It became a bit controversial as the former Raptors star was also close to Drake, dating back to his time in Toronto. DeRozan cleared the air among fans that he wasn't picking sides after his antics at Lamar's concert or appearance in the "Not Like Us" music video.

On Jeff Teague's podcast, he also batted for Drake.

"The amazing s**t that Drake done did over what, the last 15 years ... Nothing can ever take that away," DeRozan said.
"Can't just every discredit Drake, its like, he's f**king Drake," DeRozan added.
