The Hindustan Group is sponsoring the Inda’s WNBA prospect Geethu Anna Jose for her trip to U.S and is organizing a felicitaion function today, April 20th 2011 at Hindustan University Campus, Kelambakkam, Raji Gandhi Salai, Chennai – 603103 at 4.00 P.M.

Ms. Geethu Anna Jose, the Indian Basktball team captain, who secured top scorer award at the Chennai ABC Championship will be leaving for the U.S. on Saturday to attend tryouts for the WNBA. Geethu has been invited to tryouts with the Chicago Sky, Los Angeles Sparks and San Antonio Silver Stars.
Mr. Troy Justice, Director, NBA – India Operations will be the special guest for the function. The NBA is going to launch their activity in Chennai by August.
Geethu and Troy will be doing practice at the Basketball court immediately after the honoring function at the University Basketball court.
