India will face Kazakhstan in their next FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualification second phase match on Monday, November 25. The Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai, India, will host the game.
India's hopes of qualifying for the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 were further dented when they lost their previous game against Qatar. They suffered a 53-69 defeat. Indian captain Muin Bek Hafeez top-scored for them with 17 points. Pranav Prince also scored 13 points but the hosts eventually fell short.
On the other hand, Kazakhstan did not travel to Tehran to play their previous game against Iran. As a result, Iran were handed a 20-0 win in their Group E clash.
However, Kazakhstan are still second on the points table with four points. They have won two out of their games so far with one loss. India languish at the bottom of the table with three points. They have lost all three matches and are yet to secure a win at the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualification tournament.
