Helsinki, FINLAND-- An early back and forth battle was won by the Czech Republic after halftime with an 8 point victory over the home team Finnish squad. Ondrej Balvin led the Czechs with 8 points, 16 rebounds, and 7 assists. Shawn Huff of Finland led his team with 13 points and 3 rebounds. The Czech Republic beat Finland on the boards with a 44-37 rebounding edge for their second win of the tournament.
