Team Spain Roster
Spain is considered one of the most successful teams in FIBA history. They were the champions in the 2019 World Cup after defeating Argentina in the Finals. The 2019 World Cup has seen some poor performances from the top-notch teams the USA, Serbia, and the Soviet Union/Russia failed to reach the Semi-finals stage. Defending champion, USA showcased their worst gameplay in their entire FIBA journey, they got eliminated in the quarter-finals after losing to France.
Out of the 12 FIBA appearances, Spain has become the World Champion twice and proved their global dominance. Now, the team is all set to dominate and replicate their previous World Cup maneuver. Coach Sergio Scariolo has announced their roster for the 2023 World Cup which includes key players like the 2019 FIBA MVP, Ricky Rubio, and the 2022 EuroBasket MVP, Willy Hernangomez.
Spain also emerges as the champion of the 2022 Euro Basketball championship. Juancho was declared the Finals MVP, against France in the final game. The team would think to carry forward, the same zeal and motivation while playing in the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
