
Fredderick VanVleet Sr. is an American basketball guard who plays for the Houston Rockets in the 2024/25 NBA season. Fred VanVleet's journey from high school started at Auburn High School in Illinois, where he earned a spot on the All-State First Team, as he led his team to the IHSA final four in 2012. His college years at Wichita State were equally impressive. As a freshman, he contributed to the Shockers' success in the NCAA tournament, reaching the final four. It was in his sophomore season when he truly stood out, helping Wichita State achieve a perfect 28-0 record and even gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated with his teammates.
