France is going to compete with its 12-man roster in the upcoming 19th World Cup championship in the history of FIBA. France has selected the top basketball players across the country which will represent the whole nation in the FIBA World Cup 2023.

This squad has an NBA player, Victor Wembanyama. Victor plays for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association. The France men’s national basketball team is mainly controlled by the French Federation of Basketball. This team represents France in international basketball championships. France joined the FIBA in 1933 and since then they have played in FIBA World Cups. Their best finish in FIBA World Cup history was in 2014 and 2019. France got bronze medals in these years.
