Gabriel Nnamdi Vincent is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers. After going undrafted in the 2018 NBA draft, he embarked on a journeyman career playing overseas and in the NBA G League before getting his opportunity with the Miami Heat.

Vincent signed a two-way contract with the Heat in January 2020 after impressive stints with the Stockton Kings in the G League. The 2019-20 season was the first season for Vincent, and he played 9 matches for the team. The Heat reached the NBA Finals after six seasons but lost to the Los Angeles Lakers. In the next three years, Vincent was a regular player for the Heat, playing 195 games.

In the 2021-22 season, he played 68 games for the Heat and averaged 8.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. He followed up his breakout season with another solid campaign in 2022-23. His journey embodies the underdog spirit as he continues to prove he belongs in the NBA. This 2023-24 season will be a crucial one for Vincent to see how he, along with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, lead the Lakers to the postseason.
