Russell Westbrook is finally playing great basketball for the LA Clippers. The veteran point guard has helped his new team win four games in a row, and his latest performance was amazing.
Despite being one of the best point guards in NBA history, Westbrook is yet to win a championship. He came close to winning it in 2012 with the OKC Thunder, but the Miami Heat prevailed in five games.
Chris Broussard, a popular basketball analyst, recently spoke about the Clippers guard and what he has to do in the league.

Chris Broussard doesn't care about Russell Westbrook's stats
Westbrook is well known for being a fantastic all-around player and recording triple-doubles. With 198 career triple-doubles, the 6-foot-3 point guard is ranked first in the league's history, ahead of Oscar Robinson, Magic Johnson and other legends.
However, Chris Broussard doesn't think that Russell Westbrook's stats matter. What matters is winning. Here's what the NBA analyst said on the "First Things First" show:
"I got three words for Russ -- Just win baby," Broussard said. "It's not about the stats, it's not about triple-doubles, it's not even about starting or finishing games. It is about winning the West and the championship."
"All it's about is getting your jewelry," Broussard added.
The NBA analyst compared Westbrook to several other fantastic players, including Gary Payton. While Payton was an incredible player, he didn't win it all until he joined the Miami Heat and became a role player in 2006.

Broussard also pointed out that the LA Clippers were 1-5 in the games that Westbrook played in the fourth quarter. However, they have had much more success since moving the point guard to the bench in crunch time.
Westbrook's stats with the LA Clippers
Westbrook has appeared in nine games for the Clippers this season. He started in all of them, although he's played under 30 minutes per game. The 34-year-old guard suffered five straight losses after joining the team. However, things have gotten better since then.
The former MVP is averaging 13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game for his new team. He's also been quite efficient, converting 48.5% of his total field goals.
Westbrook's greatest performance was against the Sacramento Kings on March 3. Despite a one-point loss, the veteran point guard had 27 points on 12-for-16 shooting. He also added 10 assists to his stat line in 35 minutes of action.
