The Golden State Warriors (12-4) will seek to maintain their lead in the Western Conference standings when they face the Brooklyn Nets (7-10), who are on a four-game road trip. Following their victory over the Sacramento Kings the night before, the Nets will play the second night of a back-to-back.
The Warriors will be looking to get back to winning ways after falling to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday. The Warriors are the favorites against the Nets, but like in the Kings’ game, Brooklyn is capable of upsetting favorable opponents.
The Nets are three games under .500, holding a 7-10 record, good for a three-way tie for the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference standings. However, Brooklyn has struggled to perform on the road, only winning three of their 10 away games this NBA season.
The game will feature the clash of Warriors star guard Steph Curry and the Nets’ spitfire shooting guard Cameron Thomas. Curry and Thomas have been leading their respective teams in scoring because of their shooting and offensive brilliance.

Against the Kings, Thomas scored 34 points, while Curry put up only 14 points against the Spurs, his third-lowest scoring output this season.
Cameron Johnson, Nic Claxton and Ben Simmons are expected to backstop Thomas and the Nets, while the Warriors will have Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Buddy Hield and Brandin Podziemski.
