The Warriors recorded their fifth consecutive win against the defending champions Boston Celtics on Wednesday. Steph Curry scored 27 points and added nine assists, with four steals. Meanwhile, Buddy Hield and Andrew Wiggins scored 16 points each. The Warriors kept their cool in a close encounter down the stretch to overturn a seven-point fourth-quarter deficit and win 118-112.
Meanwhile, the Cavaliers' most recent victims were the New Orleans Pelicans, who they beat 131-122 on Tuesday. Their star quartet featuring Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen continued their fine stretch to get another win.
Mitchell scored a game-high 29 points, while Garland had 14 points and nine assists. Mobley finished with 15 points, nine rebounds and three blocks and Allen added 16 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks. Cleveland overcame a 12-point deficit to close the deal in a spectacular 72-point second half.
