Chris Finch will be grateful to have no additional absentees other than Terrence Shannon Jr. and Rob Dillingham.
Shannon Jr. recently suffered a Grade 2 mid-foot sprain and is expected to miss about a month of action. Meanwhile, Dillingham has recovered from his ankle sprain and has already started training, spending time in the G-League for a rehabilitation stint. However, it is very unlikely that he will suit up against the Warriors.
Predicted starting lineups: Julius Randle, Jaden McDaniels, Rudy Gobert, Donte DiVincenzo, Anthony Edwards
The Warriors have been struggling a lot since the beginning of the year, the team has only picked up three league wins in 2025 so far. The Dubs' offense has been the main cause of their struggles this season, and it truly showed in their last game against the Raptors on Tuesday.
The Warriors' offense went cold in the fourth quarter after dominating pretty much most of the game. After Kyle Anderson's go-ahead basket, they were unable to score a single point in the final two minutes, ultimately succumbing to the Raptors' late push in a 101-104 defeat.
They are currently No. 12 in the West, with a 19-20 record. They will have to start picking up a lot of wins and expect other teams to drop from time to time to stand a chance of staying up in the playoff race.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have been in fine form recently, managing four wins in the last five games. Despite a 3-game losing streak to start the year, they have picked up vital wings against the LA Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans, Orlando Magic, and the Washington Wizards in their last few games but lost to third-seeded Memphis Grizzlies.
Those five games may have really turned Timberwolves’ season in the right direction and they will hope not to fall back into old habits.
