However, Lindy Waters III connected on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to give the team a 91-90 win. Steph Curry had nine points in 14 minutes. Waters led the team in scoring with 15 points, while Moses Moody had 12 points.

Even though the Kings ended the Warriors’ journey last season in the play-in tourney, Sacramento didn’t last long either. It lost 105-98 in the next game itself to be eliminated from playoff contention.

The Kings made a huge transaction in the offseason as they added forward DeMar DeRozan. Even though they lost Harrison Barnes, the addition of DeRozan gives Sacramento another clutch finisher alongside De’Aaron Fox.
