The new NBA season is now officially underway with an action-packed start. The Golden State Warriors hit the road again to face the Utah Jazz on Friday evening, with tip-off set for 9:30 p.m. ET.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr seems to have ignited a renewed winning spirit after the Klay Thompson era, beating the Portland Trail Blazers in their season opener. Kerr is eager to shift the narrative after a disappointing campaign last season, which saw them fail to make it out of the Play-In Tournament, with the Sacramento Kings eliminating them.
The team’s recruitment over the summer has filled voids, and the team has five new players, many of whom have made an instant impact. The 59-year-old coach even labeled this team as the deepest he's ever coached.
The Warriors also are unbeaten against the Jazz in their last five outings, and they will be optimistic about extending that streak on Friday.

The Jazz, meanwhile, did not get off to the start that they'd hoped, losing to the Memphis Grizzlies in their season opener. They were behind for most of the game but made a late comeback in the final quarter. Unfortunately, they fell short and lost by two, 126-124.
