Gordon Hayward is a professional basketball player who plays as a small forward for the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA. He was drafted by the Utah Jazz with the 9th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. In the past, he led the league in free throw percentage (1.000) during the playoffs in the 2011/12 season and also during the playoffs of the 2018/19 season. The veteran has also represented Team United States and won a gold medal at the 2009 FIBA U-19 World Cup in Auckland.

Over 50 games with the Hornets in the 2022/23 season, the veteran averaged 14.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game on 47.5% shooting from the field, including 32.5% from deep. Unfortunately, a series of injuries prevented him from performing to his fullest abilities throughout the season.

During the offseason of 2017, Gordon Hayward signed with the Boston Celtics as his second NBA team.
