He attended Duke University for his college career and was part of the team's championship victory in 2015. The Duke standout was drafted 24th overall by the Utah Jazz in the 2018 NBA Draft. After playing a single season with Jazz, he spent a season each with Memphis, and Milwaukee before finally moving to the Phoenix Suns.

In a massive three-team trade involving the Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers, and Milwaukee Bucks, the Forward was traded to the Phoenix Suns from the Milwaukee Bucks. In the 2022-23 season, while starting for the Sun, he put up a second-highest career average of 10.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game recording 44.0% accuracy from the field including 39.9% from the three-point line, and an impressive 90.5% from the line in 72 games.

Grayson Allen’s Contract

The Suns Forward extended his rookie-level contract by a further two years for around $20 million guaranteed. He earned a salary of $8.5 million during the first as well as in the second year of this contract extension and he was slated to become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2024.

However, Grayson Allen's terrific three-point shooting campaign in the 2023/24 NBA season landed him a new four-year, $70 million contract with the Phoenix Suns.
