Grayson Allen is a 3-and-D specialist shooting guard who plays for the Phoenix Suns. Allen was selected as the 21st overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz after his four-year college career at Duke University. In the 2015 NCAA Div-I Championship game, Grayson Allen scored 16 points to lead the Duke Blue Devils to a famous victory. Before Duke, Grayson Allen was a star at Providence High School in Jacksonville, Florida, where he was named a McDonald's All-American in 2014.

Since entering the NBA in 2018, Grayson Allen has played for the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, and Milwaukee Bucks and he plays for the Phoenix Suns as of 2024, where he has emerged as an elite 3-point shooter. In the 2023-24 NBA season, Grayson Allen led the NBA in 3-point shooting with an outstanding 3-point shooting percentage of 46.1%, while attempting 5.9 attempts per game. This amazing shooting ability was the reason why the Phoenix Suns signed Grayson Allen on a four-year, $70 million extension

It all began when Tonan joined Grayson at Grace Lutheran School in Jacksonville, Florida. Grayson’s mom, Sherry, learned about Tonan’s family challenges and decided to help, eventually welcoming him into their home. What started as casual playdates soon became Tonan's new reality as he moved in with the Allens. Growing up, the two boys shared bunk beds, Nerf battles, and a love for basketball.
