Giannis Antetokounmpo
Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most talented players that has emerged from Greece. After being selected 15th overall the Greek freak debuted with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2013.
He has achieved all the accolades that one player could ask for, over his 10 years of tenure, he has been seven times NBA All-star, also led the Bucks as a captain, and won a championship in 2021.
Giannis is the only player who has been in the spotlight from European basketball and has left behind so much to talk about. His importance can be justified by the fact that Bucks never thought to trade him since his debut with the team in 2013 and continuously offered him perpetual deals. He is only one of the three players in NBA history who have won the season MVP continuously in 2019, and 2020 before turning 26. The other two players are Kareem Abdul Jabbar and LeBron James. In 2022 a film named Rise was released which depicts Antetokounmpo's autobiography.
