Hosts Bangladesh shine on Day 1 of the SABA 3X3 Basketball Championship

Hosts Bangladesh shone on Day 1 of the 1st SABA 3×3 Men’s Basketball championship here at Dhaka, Bangladesh. They beat Bhutan 22-9 in the opening match of the championship in the Dhanmondi Indoor Basketball Court. Bangladesh also defeated Sri Lanka 20-9 and saw off Nepal 20-18 in the last match of the opening day.

The South Asian Basketball Association (SABA), a FIBA Asia affiliate, is the organizer of the first ever 3×3 SABA sub-zonal competition. Five countries – hosts Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka are participating in the championship.
