Jalen Hood-Schifino’s NIL deal worth

With the introduction of NIL deals in the NCAA, athletes are allowed to showcase their talents and grow their brand at the same time. A reason why this was introduced was to make sure more athletes stayed in college. Without NIL deals, athletes weren’t able to make any money by playing in the NCAA so after one year in college, many athletes would declare pro and try to land contracts and deals in the NBA, NFL etc. Now that NIL deals exist in the NCAA, athletes can improve their value by landing deals and contracts thus incentivizing athletes to stay back in college. Hood-Schifino is one such athlete to make use of this to his advantage. According to On3, Hood-Schifino is worth around $210K which ranks 41st in college basketball. He has also signed deals with T-Mobile, Bose and Hoosiers Connect boosting and improving his brand. He also signed a deal with Adidas Basketball recently. He has 71K followers on all forms of social media, making him one of the more popular players in college.
