Scoot Henderson is a highly touted American basketball player who was born on June 9, 2003. He is a 6-foot-3 point guard who is widely regarded as one of the best high school basketball prospects in the class of 2022. He currently plays for the NBA G League Ignite of the NBA G League.
Henderson grew up in the Atlanta area and attended Kell High School and was a five-star recruit in Marietta, Georgia, where he played basketball for three years before transferring to the prestigious basketball academy, the Napa Christian Campus of Education in Napa, California for his senior year.
Henderson had received scholarship offers from some of the top college basketball programs in the country, including Auburn, Georgia, Memphis, and Texas A&M. Despite all the offers, Henderson chose the modern route by signing with the G-league Ignite.

Scoot Henderson, chose the G League Ignite over college and signed a seven-figure endorsement deal with Puma, the largest shoe contract ever signed by a non-NBA or draft-year player. The strong young guard is expected to be the second overall draft pick in 2023 and will be one of Puma's key faces for the foreseeable future.
The terms of the deal however have not been disclosed by Henderson’s agency, Par-Lay Sports and entertainment.

Henderson signed with G League Ignite last year before his senior year of high school and will play for the team again during the 2022-23 season. In his debut campaign with Ignite, Henderson averaged 14.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 11 games.
