Born on February 23, 1995, in Toronto, Canada, Andrew Wiggins is a professional basketball player playing for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA. Born to former NBA player Mitchell Williams and former track and field athlete and record holder Marita Payne, his upbringing was such that he was destined for a life of athletics and sports.
Wiggins picked up his interest in basketball at just the age of 9 and never looked back. He finished his High School career as a McDonald’s All-American. After having an impressive college basketball season at Kansas, he declared and was drafted 1st overall in the 2014 NBA Draft.
