Four-star recruit Hawkins made a commitment to play collegiate basketball at UConn. As a freshman, Hawkins played in 27 games. Jordan averaged 5.8 points and two rebounds in each contest. At the conclusion of the year, he was selected for the Big East Conference All-Freshman team.
