Lil Uzi Vert is a popular rapper who has been seen at several NBA games. Besides rapping, the artist loves watching basketball and he's a big fan of LeBron James and James Harden.

The rapper was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1995, and is also a big supporter of the 76ers. While he's never played basketball professionally, the rapper was recently seen throwing down a dunk in a Nike sneaker store.

Due to this, many players began wondering how tall Lil Uzi Vert was. While the dunk looked great, the truth is that the rim was lowered.

How tall is Lil Uzi Vert? Revealing the rapper's height

The NBA rim is set at 10 feet and most players who perform acrobatic dunks are at least six feet tall. There have been a few exceptions, such as Nate Robinson (5-foot-9) and Spudd Webb (5-foot-6), who also won the Slam Dunk Contest.

The popular American rapper is slightly taller than Muggsy Bogues, the shortest player to ever play in the NBA. Lil Uzi Vert stands at 5-foot-4, an inch taller than the former Charlotte Hornets guard.

While the dunk by the rapper looked great, it was definitely not performed on a regular-sized rim. Judging by the people standing next to it, the rim was most likely lowered to around seven feet.

Fans react to the dunk

Many basketball and rap fans from all around the world had funny reactions to Lil Uzi's dunk video. One Twitter user posted a clip of Michael Scott from "The Office" dunking on a lowered rim.

Other users pointed out that the rim was lowered. However, some of them admitted that the dunk still looked cool since the rapper was so short.

Spud Webb is the shortest player in NBA history to win the Slam Dunk Contest. One Twitter user posted a video of Webb's dunk, comparing the rapper to the Atlanta Hawks legend.

Others, however, brought LeBron James into the conversation.

Many Twitter users posted references to Dave Chappelle's sketch in which he impersonated Prince, a late musician who was very popular.

In the skit, Prince is an unstoppable basketball player who dominates his opponents and dunks the ball without any effort.

Several social media users took Lil Uzi Vert's dunk too seriously as they claimed that he traveled before slamming the ball.

"He thinks he's him," one Twitter user posted while showing the rapper's face after the dunk.

The popular rapper is very short, so dunking on an NBA rim would have been almost unreal. He still had a lot of fun while slamming the ball into a lowered rim, and that's all that matters.
