The Oklahoma City Thunder drafted Immanuel Quickley with the 25th overall pick in 2020. He was then traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves and eventually to the New York Knicks in return for Leandro Bolmaro. Quickley signed a four-year deal with the Knicks during the 2020/21 season. Currently, Quickley plays as an off-the-bench combo guard for the Toronto Raptors.

Throughout the previous 2022/23 season for the Knicks, Quickley participated in 81 games and averaged 14.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 steals per game. He shot 44.8% from the field, including 37.0% from deep.

At the international level, Quickley won gold medals for Team USA at the 2016 FIBA U17 World Cup in Spain and bronze at the 2017 FIBA Under-19 World Cup in Egypt.
