After being selected 11th overall in the 2015 NBA draft, Turner was widely viewed as the future of the franchise, although his impact while playing alongside Sabonis has been mixed - and reports have suggested that the Pacers could sanction a trade to upgrade other areas of the roster.

"The Pacers continue to turn away teams who inquire about Myles Turner, sources say. They are good, and they want to see how things look when Victor Oladipo returns. But every team in need of a big man should keep an eye on Turner."
Turner has played 38 times for the Pacers so far this season, averaging 12.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per contest. He signed a four-year, $72 million contract extension back in October 2018.
