Giannis Antetokounmpo is having the best scoring season of his impressive NBA career. Unfortunately, the Milwaukee Bucks forward has dealt with issues during the 2022-23 season and may not be available during Tuesday night's matchup against the Toronto Raptors.

The two-time MVP, who is averaging a career-high 31.0 points per game, has missed nine games so far this season. He's been having knee issues and the Bucks may keep him out for a couple more games.

The Bucks are 5-4 without Antetokounmpo so far but have lost two of their last three games without him. Fortunately, they will host the Raptors on Tuesday night and could even bounce back without Giannis.

Giannis Antetokounmpo may not be available against Toronto Raptors

The Milwaukee Bucks forward has missed three straight games and is questionable against the Toronto Raptors. Considering that he's dealing with knee issues, the Bucks may decide to keep him out for another game.

Both the Bucks and Raptors will play back-to-back games against each other. The Bucks defeated the Indiana Pacers on Monday night, while the Raptors narrowly escaped the New York Knicks with an overtime victory.

Each Raptors starter played at least 40 minutes on Monday night. Pascal Siakam led the team with 46 minutes, while Scottie Barnes and Fred VanVleet played 45 minutes each.

Due to this, the Bucks will most likely give their superstar another day off. Antetokounmpo isn't 100% healthy yet, so keeping him out of the next game would be a smart move.

It's also important to note that the Bucks have one of the best home records in the entire NBA. Only the Cleveland Cavaliers have a better home record than the Bucks in the East.

While Antetokounmpo's status for the Raptors game hasn't been officially revealed yet, the forward will most likely miss the game.


Antetokounmpo is having another fantastic year

The Milwaukee Bucks have the third-best record in the East thanks to Giannis' impressive performances. The 28-year-old forward is averaging a career-high 31.0 points per game on 52.4% shooting.

The two-time MVP is also a fantastic rebounder and decent ball distributor. Furthermore, Antetokounmpo is one of the best two-way players in the league.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's best performance came against the Washington Wizards on Jan. 3, 2023. The forward scored 55 points on 20-for-33 shooting and also grabbed 10 rebounds, along with seven assists.

The nine-year NBA veteran has also had seven 40-point games this season. He is the fourth-best scorer in the league and the second-best rebounder.
