Is LeBron James playing tonight against the Charlotte Hornets? | December 23rd, 2022 | 2022-23 NBA Season

Denver Nuggets v Los Angeles Lakers
LA Lakers forward LeBron James

LeBron James and the LA Lakers are looking to get back on track Friday night. The team is set to take on the Charlotte Hornets as the Lakers return home from a two-game road trip.

Los Angeles (13-18), which has won just two of its last five games, is reaching an important stretch of upcoming games. The main reason for this is the recent injury to superstar big man Anthony Davis.

It was announced on Sunday that Davis is expected to miss at least a month with a right foot injury. That means that the Lakers will have to buckle down and dig deep to prevent a further slide in the standings.

LeBron James has been sensational with his play as of late. In Wednesday night's 134-120 loss to the Sacramento Kings, he finished with 31 points and 11 assists.
