Steph Curry is expected to play against the LA Lakers on Tuesday. The two-time former MVP was sidelined for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Pistons. Curry was listed as day-to-day for the game after he had jammed his right index finger against the Sacramento Kings on Friday. He eventually missed the Sunday game.
The Golden State Warriors didn’t list Curry on their injury report for Tuesday’s game. Thus, barring any last-minute changes, he's expected to suit up against LeBron James and the Lakers.
The Warriors are also expected to play Andrew Wiggins against LA. Wiggins hasn’t featured in the preseason yet and was out with an undisclosed illness. Golden State’s only injury concern is Brandin Podziemski, who suffered a broken nose after taking an accidental hit from teammate Trayce Jackson-Davis on Sunday. Podziemski is ruled out against the LA Lakers.

Golden State coach Steve Kerr was worried when Steph Curry had to leave game versus Kings
The entire Golden State Warriors fan base, including coach Steve Kerr, must have been relieved after X-ray results came back negative for Steph Curry’s finger injury on Friday. However, there were moments of panic for Kerr. He said, via NBC Sports Bay Area:
“Always. Steph is Steph, so. I was assured at halftime that he was fine. X-rays were negative. It wasn’t anything too concerning. But, yeah, you always get nervous when he gets hurt.”
Kerr added that Curry was scheduled for extended minutes in that game, but the injury ruled him out:
“He was going to actually play into the third quarter tonight for the first time (this preseason). But when he jammed his finger, it made no sense to send him back out there.”
Thus, it's expected for Steph Curry to see extended minutes on Tuesday. The Lakers defense should be a good test for the Warriors offense, whch has been lights-out so far in the preseason. Golden State is 4-0, with wins against the LA Clippers, Sacramento Kings (twice) and the Detroit Pistons.
