The 2024 Paris Olympics reaffirmed what we already knew: LeBron James and Steph Curry are two of the greatest players to ever step foot on a basketball court. The USA men's national team superstars were in scintillating form at the Olympics, leading their nation to a fifth consecutive gold medal.

Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal won three championships together with the LA Lakers and a popular mixtape of the two players emerged on social media. A similar video has now been edited with Curry and James' Olympic highlights. NBA fans were amazed by the LeBron-Steph Olympic edit mirroring Shaq and Kobe's mixtape.

"That chemistry was crazy I can’t cap, you would’ve thought that they played on the same team before," one fan said.

"Bron & Curry duo literally saved the whole country. It was like Spider-Man & Superman link up," another fan added.

The 45-second video went viral online, with many asking the two players to join forces in the NBA.

"LeBron just need to come to GS and have both Steph and LeBron finish their career with 7 rings," a fan said.

"They need to team up LeBron understands him perfectly," another fan added.

An NBA union seems unlikely with James recently committing to a two-year, $101.35 million deal. Curry has played his entire 15-year career with the Golden State Warriors, and still has two years left on his contract.

Although James and Curry have never played together in the NBA, the two veterans share a special connection on the court. They understand each others game's and have developed a chemistry that is unmatched at the international level.

Strong performances from LeBron and Steph at the Olympics guided USA to a fifth consecutive gold medal

With James and Curry leading the way, Team USA were undefeated at the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning all six of their games. An astonishing fourth quarter performance from Curry guided the team to a 98-87 victory over France in the final to secure a fifth consecutive gold medal.

Curry had a slow start to the tournament, recording just 29 points in his first four outings. The sharpshooter saved his best for last with a dazzling performance against Serbia in the semis where he recorded a game-high 36 points. That was followed by an incredible display versus France in the finals. Curry finished with 24 points and scored four 3s in the final three minutes of the game.

James was outstanding throughout the tournament and was instrumental in the USA's incredible run. He averaged 14.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game and was rewarded for his hard work by being named the MVP of the tournament.
