Izan Almansa is a Spanish professional basketball player who plays for the NBA G-League Ignite. Almansa was born in Spain and came from a lineage of basketball in his family with his father, Steve Horton, being a professional basketball player. Almanza's initial development in basketball started off in Spain as a part of the team named UCAM Murcia through which Almansa competed in the Spanish National Championship.

From UCAM Murcia, Almansa joined the Real Madrid Youth Academy and played two seasons with them. He kicked off his professional career in basketball when he moved to the United States when he joined Overtime Elite. As a part of Overtime Elite, Almansa played for Team OTE and YNG Dreamerz. As a part of the Dreamerz, Almansa played a significant role in guiding the team to the finals where they were defeated by City Reapers.

In 2023, Almansa signed to play professional basketball with the NBA G-League Ignite. During his season with the G-League Ignite, Almansa averaged 11.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Internationally, Almansa represented Spain in multiple FIBA international tournaments.
