Born on July 5, 2002 in Detroit, Michigan, Jaden Hardy is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA. Hardy was selected with the 37th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings.
Hardy was named Las Vegas Review-Journal Boy Athlete of the Year and Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year in his junior high school season. He was part of the 2021 roster for the Nike Hoop Summit, Jordan Brand Classic, and McDonald’s All-American.
As a consensus five-star recruit coming out of high school, Hardy received offers to play at UCLA and Kentucky. However, he rejected those and chose to play in the G-League for Ignite.
