Jahmir Young is a basketball point guard for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA and the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G League as of May 2025. He went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft and joined the Denver Nuggets for the 2024 NBA Summer League. Following this, in July 2024, he signed an exhibit-10 contract with them. He was waived off in October, joining the Grand Rapids Gold. In the Summer League with the Nuggets, Young averaged 17.8 minutes, 9.2 points, and 3.2 rebounds. In February 2025, Young signed a two-way contract with the Bulls.

Young was named Third Team All-Conference USA (C-USA) and Freshman of the Year while playing for the Charlotte 49ers as a rookie. He averaged 12.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. He recorded a career-high 30 points in a 96-67 defeat to Florida Atlantic in January 2022. As a junior, he made the first-team All-Conference USA again earlier in 2021. After joining the Maryland Terrapins, he was selected by coaches and the media to be on the Second Team All-Big Ten in 2023. In his five seasons of college, he played in 152 games, starting all, averaging 17.3 points, 3.3 assists, and 5.1 rebounds as per his college profile.
