Jalen Green and Draya Michele trade NBA for NFL to catch Beyonce’s Christmas halftime show  

Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green and girlfriend, Draya Michele, were among those present at the NRG Stadium in Houston to watch music superstar Beyonce perform during the hafltime show of the Christmas Day NFL game between the Texans and Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday.

Michele posted videos and photos on her Instagram stories, capturing the atmosphere in the arena. The content highlighted the game and the performance of Grammy Award winner and Texas native Beyoncé, who performed songs from her album Cowboy Carter, including "Blackbird" and "Jolene."

While Jalen Green and Michele enjoyed Beyonce's performance, they also witnessed the home team Texans suffer a heavy loss to the Ravens, falling 31-2 and dropping to 9-7 for the season. Despite the defeat, Houston still leads the AFC South, ahead of the Indianapolis Colts (7-8), Jacksonville Jaguars (3-12) and Tennessee Titans (3-12).

Meanwhile, Green and the Rockets (20-9) had a day off on Christmas Day. Their last game was on December 23, where they secured a 114-101 victory over the Charlotte Hornets. Next, Houston travels to New Orleans on Thursday to face the Pelicans.

Jalen Green and Draya Michele share a daughter together

Jalen Green and Draya Michele publicly announced their relationship in August last year. In May, they welcomed their first child, a daughter.

Michele, a media personality, actress, and fashion designer, is 39 years old—17 years older than the high-flying Houston Rockets guard Green. Despite their age difference, she sees nothing wrong with it and is proud to say they are making it work, especially now that they have a child they are deeply invested in.

She spoke about being the mother to Green's daughter, writing on her Instgram profile:

"My daughter was safely brought into this world and I'm forever grateful for the new memories we all get to expereince moving forward."

Michelle, however, is not a first-time mother. She has two sons, Kniko and Jru, from a previous relationship with former NFL player Orlando Scandrick.

While she has kept her relationship with Green private, she is a constant supporter, often spotted at his home games.

Jalen Green is having a solid campaign so far this NBA season, leading the Rockets in scoring with 19.1 points per game, along with 4.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and a steal in 29 games, all of which he started.

In October, just before the season began, he signed a three-year, $105.33 million Rookie Scale contract extension with the Rockets, which includes a player option for the 2027-28 season.
