James Edward Harden Jr. is an American professional basketball player who was recently traded to the Los Angeles Clippers from the Philadelphia 76ers. Harden plays the position of the shooting guard or point guard in the NBA. Harden is widely regarded as one of the most deadly and efficient offensive players in the NBA’s history. Harden was drafted as the 3rd overall pick in the first round by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2009 NBA draft. He played alongside Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook during his time at OKC. Harden failed to secure a max contract with the OKC which motivated him to leave the organization for the Houston Rockets.

Harden rose to the pinnacle of fame during his 9 years with the Rockets, leading the team to deep playoff runs and winning an MVP award.
