Jarett Allen an American Professional basketball player is known for dominating the court with his towering presence. Born on April 21, 1998, Allen plays Center for the Brooklyn Nets, who drafted him 22nd overall in the 2017 NBA Draft. His incredible skills and commitment has made him a key player for the franchise ever since he was drafted.

Jarrett Allen went to the Texas Longhorns and his performance was nothing short of impressive in college, averaging 13.4 pts, and 8.4 rebounds per game.

Making his debut on October 20, 2018 he became the second-youngest player to ever play for the Nets, where he made a mark in his very first year averaging 8.2 points, and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Allen started to improve his performance in the very second year and became a formidable force on the defensive end of the Nets for the next four seasons till 2021. He worked on his game and developed into a solid defender with more than 2 blocks per game.

In January 2021, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, as a part of a four-team mega trade and he made him famous since James Harden was also a part of the trade. In his very first season with the Cavs, he averaged around 13.2 points, and 9.9 rebounds, per game. His impressive performance earned him his first NBA All-Star Game selection.

Allen showcased his outstanding performance in the 2022-23 season that led the Cleveland Cavaliers to the playoffs. He averaged around 16.1 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game in the regular season. Unfortunately for the Cavaliers they lost to the New York Knicks in the first round of the playoffs.

Jarrett Allen's High School

Jarrett Allen started his high school career at Round Rock High School, which is located in the city of Round Rock in the state of Texas. However, following the completion of his first year, he decided to switch schools. Allen made the decision to further his education and basketball career at St. Stephen's Episcopal School, which is located in Austin, Texas. This school was a significant influence on his trajectory as a basketball player in the years to come.

Allen displayed both his talent and his determination in the game of basketball while he was a student at Saint Stephen's Episcopal School. In addition to being chosen to participate in the prestigious McDonald's All-American boys game in 2016, he was the driving force behind the team's two SPC Championship victories.
